For her leadership, dedication, and commitment: honored in 2005 as

Phoebe Sorgen is a Commissioner of Disaster and Fire Safety who, if elected, will work full-time on the City Council even though it is remunerated as a part-time position. She will listen to us thoughtfully and respond to our requests conscientiously. She has lived in the district for 23 years, raising a Berkeley High graduate. Call on her as your good neighbor, friend, sister or mom. When elected, she will continue reaching out to connect with us.
